Lord, Be With Us
There are days when the prayer doesn't need to be complicated. We don't need a long list of requests or the perfect words. Sometimes all our hearts need to say is, “Lord, be with us.”
Be with us in our homes. Be with us in our decisions. Be with us at work, in our relationships, in our conversations, and in the things we are facing that we cannot yet see clearly.
Lord, be with us when we are strong and when we are tired. Be with us when we know what to do and when we have no idea what the next step should be.
Your presence matters more than having every answer.
We can face an uncertain day when we know we are not facing it alone. We can walk through difficult circumstances when we know our Shepherd is leading us. We can step into the unknown when we trust that God is already there.
Sometimes we ask God to change the situation when what we really need is the assurance that He is with us in the situation.
So today, Lord, we don't ask You to simply go before us. We ask You to walk beside us.
Guide our steps. Guard our hearts. Give us wisdom. Give us peace. Protect our families. Keep us from making decisions out of fear. And when we don't know what to do, remind us that we can stop, breathe, pray, and trust You.
Lord, be with us.
Whatever today brings, let Your presence be enough.

Where do I need to remember that God is with me today?
Am I trying to face something in my own strength?
What situation do I need to invite God into more intentionally?
How would my perspective change if I truly believed God was walking beside me?
Take a moment today to declare:
“Lord, be with us today. Go before us, walk beside us, and guide every step we take. Be with our families, our homes, our work, our decisions, and everything that concerns us. When we are afraid, remind us that You are near. When we are uncertain, lead us. When we are tired, strengthen us. Breathe in Your presence. Breathe out our fear. We don't know everything this day will bring, but we know You will be with us through it all.”

Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Father, we ask You simply to be with us. Be with us in everything we face today. Cover our families, guide our decisions, protect our minds and hearts, and give us peace that circumstances cannot take away. When we don't know which way to go, lead us. When we feel weak, strengthen us. When we feel alone, remind us that You are near. Let Your presence go before us and remain with us throughout this day.
