In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.”

It's A New Season
There comes a time when God says, “It’s time for something new.”
A new season doesn't always begin with everything changing overnight. Sometimes it begins quietly—with a change in your heart, a new perspective, a decision to let go, or a willingness to trust God in a way you haven't before.
We can become so comfortable with what we know that even when God is moving us forward, we keep looking backward.
But you cannot fully embrace a new season while constantly trying to hold onto the old one.
There may be things God is asking you to leave behind—not because they were all bad, but because they served their purpose. Some relationships, situations, mindsets, disappointments, and even dreams belong to a previous season.
And sometimes the hardest part isn't walking into the new.
It's believing that the new can actually be better than what you're leaving behind.
God says, “I will do a new thing.” Notice that He doesn't say, “You will figure out how to create something new.” He says, “I will do.”
Your responsibility is not to know every detail. Your responsibility is to trust the One who is leading you.
So if you feel like something is shifting in your life, don't be afraid of it. If God is closing something, let it close. If He is opening something, walk through it. If He is asking you to release something, release it.
You don't have to carry yesterday into tomorrow.
A new season requires a new level of trust.
Maybe you've spent enough time grieving what was. Maybe it's time to thank God for what that season taught you and start looking forward to what He is doing now.
The chapter has changed.
Let God write the next one.
Isaiah 43:19 NIV
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”
What might God be asking me to leave behind in this season?
Am I holding onto something that belongs to my previous season?
What new thing might God be preparing me for?
Am I willing to trust God even before I understand where He is leading me?
Take a moment today to declare:
“Lord, I receive this new season with an open heart. I release what You are asking me to leave behind, and I trust You with what lies ahead. I will not allow my past to keep me from embracing my future. Breathe in Your newness. Breathe out the fear of change. I believe You are doing something new, even when I cannot see it yet. I trust You to lead me into everything You have prepared for me.”
Reflection
Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Father, thank You for new seasons. Thank You that my past does not have to define my future and that You are always able to make all things new. Give me the courage to release what no longer belongs in my life and the faith to embrace what You are bringing into it. Help me not to fear change but to trust Your hand through it. Whatever this new season holds, I want to walk through it with You.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
