THE COVENANT
Daily Devotionals & Reflections
In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.”
Jeremiah 29:12–13 (NLT)
October 8, 2026
I know this because there are moments when I cannot explain how I have made it through. There are moments when I should have been overwhelmed, when I should have given up, when I didn't know what to do next—and somehow, God gave me the strength to keep going.
I may not always be able to see Him, but I can see the evidence of Him in my life. I see Him in the peace that comes when everything around me feels uncertain. I see Him in the strength that shows up when I know I don't have any left. I see Him in the doors He opens, the doors He closes, the protection I didn't recognize until later, and the prayers He answers in ways I never expected.
Sometimes people may not understand my faith. They may not understand why I continue to trust God when circumstances don't look the way I want them to. But I know what God has done for me. I know what I have experienced with Him.
My faith isn't based on everything going perfectly. It is based on knowing that God has been with me through the imperfect moments too.
When I look back, I can see His fingerprints all over my story.
So today, I don't need anyone else to convince me that God is real. I have experienced His presence, His grace, His protection, His mercy, and His love for myself.
My God is real. And He is still working.
2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
My God Is So Real
Where have I seen God's presence in my life, even when I didn't recognize it immediately?
What has God brought me through that reminds me He is real?
Am I remembering His faithfulness when my current circumstances try to make me doubt?
Take a moment today to declare:
“My God is real. I may not see everything He is doing, but I know He is with me. I know what He has brought me through. I know the strength He has given me, the peace He has given me, and the ways He has carried me. My faith is not based on what I see—it is based on who I know You to be. Lord, You are real, You are faithful, and You are still working in my life.”
Reflection
Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being real in my life. Thank You for every time You have carried me when I didn't have the strength to carry myself. Thank You for the moments I could feel Your presence, the prayers You answered, and even the things You protected me from that I never knew about. Help me never forget Your faithfulness. When I cannot see what You are doing, remind me of everything You have already done. Keep my faith strong and my heart close to You.
Amen.
