Daily Devotionals & Reflections

In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.”
Jeremiah 29:12–13 (NLT)

October 2, 2026

There are moments when I look at what is in front of me and wonder, How am I going to do this? Sometimes the responsibilities feel heavy, the challenges seem bigger than me, and I don't feel like I have the strength to keep going.

But Philippians 4:13 reminds me that my strength does not come from me alone. Christ is my strength.

This verse doesn't mean that I will never face difficulties or that everything will always go the way I want. It reminds me that whatever I face, I don't have to face it in my own strength. When I am weak, Christ strengthens me. When I am discouraged, He gives me courage. When I feel like giving up, He gives me the grace to take another step.

There are things I may not know how to handle today, but I don't have to figure everything out at once. I can trust God for the strength I need for this moment, this situation, and this day.

Sometimes I have to remind myself: I can do thisβ€”not because I am strong enough on my own, but because Christ is strengthening me.

So today, I will not allow fear, exhaustion, uncertainty, or discouragement to convince me that I cannot make it through. I will lean on Christ and trust Him to give me exactly what I need.

Philippians 4:13 KJV

β€œI can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

My Strength Comes From Christ

What am I facing right now that feels too difficult for me?

Am I trying to carry it in my own strength?

What would change if I truly believed that Christ is strengthening me for what I am facing today?

Take a moment today to declare:

β€œI can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am not walking through this alone. I may feel weak, but my God is strong. I may not have all the answers, but I have Christ. I may not know how everything will work out, but I trust the One who does. I will keep going, one step at a time, because my strength comes from You, Lord.”

Reflection

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. Help me remember that I don't have to depend on my own ability, understanding, or strength. Whatever today brings, give me the grace to face it with You. When I feel like I cannot do something, remind me that I don't have to do it alone. Strengthen my heart, renew my mind, and help me keep moving forward in faith.
In Jesus' name,

Amen.
