Don't Reject The Help God Sends
Sometimes we pray for blessings…
For breakthrough.
For opportunities.
For support.
For God to make a way.
And while we’re waiting for God to move,
He sends people.
People with wisdom.
People with opportunities.
People willing to help, guide, encourage, or open doors for us.
But sometimes…
We reject the very help we prayed for.
Because it didn’t arrive the way we expected.
Because pride tells us we should handle everything alone.
Because hurt or disappointment makes us cautious about trusting people again.
And without realizing it, we can push away the very “destiny helpers” God placed in our path.
Not every blessing arrives as money or miracles.
Sometimes blessings arrive as connections.
Advice.
Support.
Correction.
Encouragement.
A person willing to stand beside you in a difficult season.
God often works through people.
That doesn’t mean every person is meant for your journey.
But it does mean we should stay open and discerning instead of automatically rejecting help.
Because sometimes the answer to your prayer is not just in what God does directly—
It’s in who He sends.
So today, ask God for wisdom to recognize the people He has placed around you.
The ones helping you grow.
Helping you heal.
Helping you move toward purpose.
And remind yourself:
“I will not reject the help God sends into my life.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9 NIV
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.”
Have I been resisting help because of pride, fear, or disappointment?
Who has God placed in my life to encourage or guide me?
Am I open to receiving support the way God chooses to send it?
As you breathe in, whisper: “Open my eyes, Lord.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “Help me receive.”

Closing Prayer
Lord,
Thank You for the ways You work in my life, even through people. Give me wisdom to recognize the help, guidance, and support You send my way.
Remove pride, fear, or hesitation that keeps me from receiving what You have placed before me.
Help me to stay open, discerning, and grateful for every blessing You send.
Amen.
