Are You Doing Your Part?
Sometimes we pray for change…
For open doors.
For blessings.
For growth.
For God to move in our lives.
But every now and then, we need to pause and ask ourselves:
Am I doing my part too?
Because faith is not just waiting.
It’s trusting God while also being willing to move when He tells you to.
Sometimes we ask God for opportunities…
but stay stuck in fear.
We ask for growth…
but resist change.
We ask for peace…
but keep feeding anxiety.
And without realizing it, we can end up blocking the very thing we’ve been praying for.
Not because God isn’t willing to bless us—
but because we are unwilling to align ourselves with what He’s trying to do.
God opens doors.
But we still have to walk through them.
God gives direction.
But we still have to take the step.
God provides opportunities.
But we still have to be obedient.
So today, instead of only asking God to move…
Ask yourself if you are willing to move too.
Willing to trust.
Willing to obey.
Willing to let go of habits, thoughts, or fears that keep you stuck.
Because blessings often require alignment.
And sometimes the breakthrough comes
when your faith finally turns into action.
So remind yourself today:
“I will trust God—and I will do my part.”
James 2:17 NIV
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Am I truly aligning my actions with what I’m praying for?
What fear or habit might be holding me back?
What is one step of faith I can take today?
As you breathe in, whisper: “I trust You.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “I will move in faith.”

Closing Prayer
Lord,
Show me where I may be blocking what You are trying to do in my life. Help me not only to pray and believe, but also to act in faith and obedience.
Give me courage to move when You call me to move and wisdom to recognize what needs to change within me.
I choose to trust You and do my part today.
Amen.
