In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.”

When You Feel Like You're Falling

There are days when everything feels off.

You try.
You pray.
You push forward.

But in your mind, it still feels like you’re not doing enough.

Not moving fast enough.
Not getting it right.
Not measuring up.

And in those moments, a quiet voice starts to grow louder:

“You’re failing.”
“You’re behind.”
“You’re not going to make it.”

But that voice was never meant to guide you.

The enemy takes pleasure in confusion. In discouragement. In making you question what God is still building in you.

Because if he can make you believe you are failing…
he can make you stop moving.

But God’s truth is different.

What feels like failure to you is often formation in God’s hands.

What feels like delay is often preparation.
What feels like weakness is often growth happening beneath the surface.

You are not being measured by how fast you arrive.

You are being shaped in the process.

So when those thoughts come—when you feel like you’re not enough or not doing enough—pause and realign with truth:

You are not failing.
You are being refined.
And God is not finished with you.

John 10:10 NIV

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

What thoughts have been making me feel like I am failing?

Am I believing lies about my progress instead of trusting God’s process?

Where might God actually be growing me, even if I can’t see it yet?

Reflection

Closing Prayer

Lord,

Help me recognize the lies that make me feel like I am failing.

Strengthen my mind when I feel discouraged and remind me of Your truth.

Show me how You are working even when I can’t see progress.

I trust that You are not finished with me yet.

Amen.
