Be Careful What You Speak
Sometimes itâs not whatâs happening around youâŚ
Itâs what youâre saying about it.
The quiet comments.
The repeated thoughts.
The words you speak without even realizing.
âThis is too much.â
âI canât handle this.â
âNothing is working.â
And over time, those words begin to shape how you see everything.
Not because they are trueâŚ
but because they are consistent.
Your words matter more than you think.
They donât just describe your situationâ
they influence how you experience it.
They can build faithâŚ
or reinforce fear.
They can bring clarityâŚ
or create confusion.
So today, pay attention.
Not in a pressured wayâ
but in an aware way.
When something challenging comes up, notice your first response.
Are your words helping you standâŚ
or causing you to sink?
Because sometimes the biggest shift doesnât come from changing your situationâ
It comes from changing what you say about it.
So instead of letting your words work against youâŚ
Choose them carefully.
Speak truth.
Speak life.
Speak from trust, not fear.
And remind yourself:
âMy words will not betray meâthey will align with truth.â

What have I been speaking over my life lately?
Are my words building faith or feeding fear?
What truth can I begin declaring instead?
As you breathe in, whisper: âI speak life.â
As you breathe out, whisper: âI speak truth.â

Closing Prayer
Lord,
Help me to become more aware of the words I speak. Teach me to speak life, truth, and faith over my situation.
Guard my mouth and align my words with Your truth so that I donât work against what You are doing in my life.
I choose to speak wisely today.
