Daily Devotionals & Reflections
In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.”

Living Water Within
So often we look outward to feel filled.
We look for peace in circumstances.
We look for joy in people.
We look for strength in what we can control.
But Jesus points us somewhere deeper—**within**.
He reminds us that when we believe in Him, something powerful happens inside of us. Not a small, temporary feeling… but rivers of living water begin to flow.
Not a trickle.
Not something that runs dry.
But a constant, life-giving flow.
This means you are not empty.
You are not lacking.
You are not running on your own strength.
God has already placed His Spirit within you.
Even on the days you feel drained…
Even when life feels heavy…
Even when your emotions say otherwise…
There is still something flowing inside of you that cannot be exhausted.
But here’s the key—**it has to flow**.
When we hold everything in, when we rely on ourselves, when we disconnect from God, we can feel stuck and dry.
But when we stay connected to Him—through prayer, through surrender, through trust—what’s within us begins to overflow.
Peace flows.
Wisdom flows.
Strength flows.
And it doesn’t just refresh you—it begins to touch others around you.
So tomorrow, don’t strive to be filled from the outside.
Instead, pause and remember:
There is already something living and flowing within you.
Stay connected.
Stay open.
Let it flow.
John 7:38 NIV
“Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
Where have I been looking to feel filled instead of turning to God within me?
What might be blocking the flow of what God has already placed inside me?
How can I stay more connected to Him throughout my day?
As you breathe in, whisper: “Fill me, Lord.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “Let it flow.”

Closing Prayer
Lord,
Thank You for placing Your living water within me. When I feel empty or overwhelmed, remind me that I am not without You.
Help me stay connected to You so that what You’ve placed inside of me can flow freely—bringing life, peace, and strength not only to me but to those around me.
Let Your Spirit move in and through me today.
Amen.
