In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.”

Grace Enough

I am not perfect.

Some days I get things right, and other days I fall short. There are moments when I replay my mistakes in my mind and wish I had responded differently, spoken more kindly, or handled a situation better.

It can be easy to be hard on ourselves when we see our imperfections so clearly.

But something God has been reminding me of is this: if I cannot give myself grace, how can I truly extend it to others?

Grace is one of the greatest gifts God gives us. Not because we have earned it, but because we need it.

Every day.

God never expected us to live perfectly on our own strength. He knows our weaknesses. He sees our struggles. Yet instead of turning away, He meets us there with mercy and grace.

When we stumble, He lifts us.
When we feel inadequate, He reminds us that His strength fills the places where we are weak.

The truth is simple and freeing: God gives us the grace we need.

That grace allows us to move forward instead of staying trapped in regret. It teaches us to be patient with ourselves as we grow, and it softens our hearts toward others who are also learning and stumbling along the way.

When we remember how much grace God has shown us, it becomes easier to extend that same grace to the people around us.

Not because any of us are perfect, but because we are all being shaped by the same loving God.

And His grace is always enough.

2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”

Where have you been too hard on yourself lately?

How might accepting God’s grace change the way you see your mistakes?

How can remembering God’s grace help you show more patience and kindness to others?

As you breathe in, whisper: “Your grace is enough.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “Help me extend it.”

Reflection

Closing Prayer

Lord,

Thank You for the grace You pour into my life every day. You see my imperfections and my struggles, yet You meet me with love instead of condemnation.

Teach me to accept the grace You freely give. Help me not to be so hard on myself, but to grow through Your mercy and guidance.

And as I receive Your grace, help me extend that same grace to others. Remind me that we are all learning, growing, and walking this journey with You.

Your grace truly is enough.

Amen.
