Stay Teachable Along The Journey
Yesterday, we reflected on staying the course with God as our guide.
But following God's direction requires more than determination—it requires humility.
A teachable heart is essential for anyone who wants to walk closely with God.
Sometimes we want God's guidance, but only if it aligns with our plans.
Sometimes we ask for direction, but resist correction.
Yet God promises to guide the humble.
The humble person understands that they do not have all the answers. They remain open to God's instruction, willing to adjust their course when He redirects them.
Humility keeps us from becoming stubborn.
It allows us to learn from mistakes, receive wisdom, and grow through life's challenges.
When we stay humble before God, we stay positioned to hear His voice and follow His leading.
The journey of faith is not about proving how much we know.
It is about continually learning from the One who knows all things.
So as you continue walking the path God has set before you, remain teachable.
Ask God to reveal what needs to change, what needs to grow, and what needs to be surrendered.
The more teachable your heart, the clearer His guidance becomes.
“God guides those who remain humble enough to follow.”

“He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.”
Am I truly open to God's correction and direction?
Are there areas where I have become resistant to His leading?
What would it look like to have a more teachable heart today?
As you breathe in, whisper: “Teach me, Lord.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “I will follow.”

Closing Prayer
Lord,
Thank You for faithfully guiding me. Help me to remain humble and teachable as I walk with You.
Give me a heart that is willing to learn, quick to listen, and eager to obey. When You correct me, help me receive it with grace. When You guide me, help me follow with trust.
Lead me in Your way today and keep me close to You.
