God Knows When We Are Ready
We often ask God, "Why not now?
Why hasn't the door opened?
Why hasn't the prayer been answered?
Why does it seem like everyone else is moving ahead while I'm still waiting?
The truth is, God is never in a hurry, and He is never late.
He knows exactly when we are ready for what we have been praying for.
Sometimes we think we are prepared, but God sees what we cannot. He sees the areas where our faith still needs to grow, our character needs refining, or our dependence on Him needs to deepen.
Waiting is not God's way of withholding His goodness.
It is often His way of preparing us to receive it.
A loving father would never place something valuable into the hands of a child before they are ready to care for it. In the same way, our Heavenly Father gives us what is best at the right time.
While we wait, God is shaping us.
He is strengthening our faith.
He is teaching us patience.
He is building our trust.
One day, you will look back and realize that God's delays were actually His protection and preparation.
So don't become discouraged if your prayers have not yet been answered.
Continue to seek Him.
Continue to grow.
Continue to trust.
When God knows you are ready—and when His perfect timing has come—He will open the door that no one can shut.

“The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not abandon the works of your hands.”
What am I asking God to do in His timing rather than my own?
How might God be preparing me during this season of waiting?
What can I do today to grow closer to Him while I wait?
As you breathe in, whisper: “Your timing is perfect.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “I trust You, Lord.”

Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for knowing what is best for me and for always working according to Your perfect wisdom. Help me to trust Your timing, even when I don't understand it.
Prepare my heart for the plans You have for me. Teach me to be faithful in the waiting and confident that You are working behind the scenes for my good.
I choose to trust that You know when I am ready.
