God Is Near In Every Moment

There are moments in life when God feels close, and other moments when He feels distant.

Times of joy can make His presence feel obvious. Times of struggle can make His presence feel hidden.

But feelings are not the measure of truth.

God’s Word reminds us that He is near to all who call on Him.

Not just in perfect moments.

Not just when life is going well.

But in every moment.

In the quiet days when nothing seems to be happening, God is near.

In the overwhelming days when everything feels like too much, God is near.

In the waiting, in the uncertainty, in the prayers that have not yet been answered—God is still near.

Sometimes we search for signs of His presence in circumstances, but the greatest sign is His promise. He does not leave those who seek Him.

We may not always understand His timing, and we may not always see immediate answers, but we are never abandoned.

Today, you don’t have to strive to reach God.

You simply need to turn your heart toward Him.

He is already near.

“Even when I cannot see Him working, I can trust that He is near.”

“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”

When have I felt distant from God, even though He was still with me?

How can I remind myself of His nearness today?

What would change if I truly believed God is near in this moment?

As you breathe in, whisper: “You are near, Lord.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “I am not alone.”

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You that You are always near, even when I do not feel it. Help me to trust Your presence more than my emotions.

Draw my heart closer to You today. Remind me that I am never alone, and that You are with me in every season.

Strengthen my faith to believe what Your Word says, even when my feelings say otherwise.

Amen.
