God Goes Before You

There are times in life when the road ahead seems uncertain.

New seasons.
Difficult decisions.
Unexpected challenges.

Often, we wish we could see what lies ahead before taking the next step.

But God does not ask us to walk by sight.

He asks us to walk by faith.

The wonderful promise found in today's Scripture is that God goes before us. Before we arrive at tomorrow, He is already there.

He has already seen every challenge.

He already knows every need.

He has already prepared the grace and strength required for the journey.

Whatever you are facing today, you do not face it alone.

God is with you.

When fear whispers that you are unprepared, remember that God has gone before you.

When uncertainty makes you anxious, remember that God already knows the way.

When discouragement tries to take hold, remember that God's presence never leaves you.

Take courage today.

The God who led you in the past is the same God leading you now.

And He will remain faithful every step of the way.

“I can move forward with confidence because God has already gone before me.”

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

What situation in my life do I need to trust God with today?

How does knowing that God goes before me change my perspective?

What fears do I need to surrender to Him?

As you breathe in, whisper: “You go before me.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “I will trust You.”

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for going before me and preparing the way. Thank You that I never walk alone and that Your presence is always with me.

Help me to trust You when the future seems uncertain. Replace my fear with faith and my anxiety with peace.

Give me courage to follow wherever You lead, knowing that You are faithful and will never leave me nor forsake me.

Amen.
