Let God Work

One of the hardest things to do is to step back and let God work.

We want to fix things ourselves.
We want immediate answers.
We want to control the timing, the outcome, and the process.

But sometimes our greatest act of faith is not striving harder.

It is surrendering deeper.

God does not need our panic to accomplish His purpose.

He does not need us to force every door open or carry every burden alone.

Some battles are won not by constant striving, but by trusting that God is already moving behind the scenes.

That doesn't mean we become passive or careless.

It means we stop trying to take God's place.

When we rush ahead of Him, anxiety grows.
When we constantly try to control everything, peace disappears.

But when we place situations into God's hands, something changes within us.

Our hearts begin to rest.
Our minds become calmer.
Our faith becomes stronger.

Because we remember that God sees what we cannot.

He knows the timing.
He knows the outcome.
And He knows how to work things together in ways we could never arrange ourselves.

Today, whatever situation has been weighing heavily on your heart, stop carrying it alone.

Pray.
Trust.
Release it to God.

And then allow Him room to work.

“God works best in the places we finally surrender to Him.”

Psalm 37:7 NIV

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him…”

What situation have I been trying to control instead of surrendering?

Am I trusting God's timing, or fighting against it?

What would it look like to truly let God work in this area of my life?

As you breathe in, whisper: “Lord, I surrender.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “I trust You to work.”

Reflection

Closing Prayer

Lord,

Help me to stop striving in my own strength and trust You more deeply. Teach me to surrender the situations I cannot control and to rest in Your wisdom and timing.

Give me peace while I wait and faith while You work behind the scenes.

Thank You for being faithful even when I cannot yet see the outcome.

Amen.
