Daily Devotionals & Reflections

In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.”

Today Is The Day

How often do we spend today thinking about yesterday's regrets or tomorrow's worries?

We replay past mistakes.

We anticipate future challenges.

And in doing so, we miss the gift God has placed right in front of us—today.

Today is the day the Lord has made.

Today is another opportunity to walk in His grace.

Today is another chance to forgive, to love, to grow, and to trust Him more deeply.

We cannot change yesterday.

We are not promised tomorrow.

But we have today.

No matter what yesterday looked like, God's mercy is available today.

No matter what tomorrow may bring, God's grace will be there when you need it.

So don't allow fear, disappointment, or regret to steal the joy of this moment.

Choose to praise God today.

Choose to trust Him today.

Choose to obey Him today.

Take one step of faith today.

Encourage someone today.

Pray with expectation today.

God has already gone before you, and He has given you everything you need for this day.

Make the most of the gift He has given.

Because today is not just another day.

It is a day filled with God's purpose, His presence, and His promises.

“Today is God's gift to me, and I choose to live it for His glory.”

Psalm 118:24 NIV

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

How can I make the most of the day God has given me?

Am I dwelling on the past or worrying about the future instead of trusting God today?

What is one way I can glorify God with this day?

As you breathe in, whisper: “Thank You for today.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “I will rejoice in You.”

Reflection

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of this new day. Thank You for Your mercy, Your grace, and Your faithfulness that meet me each morning.

Help me not to waste today by living in yesterday or fearing tomorrow. Instead, help me to walk in faith, serve with joy, and trust You with every moment.

May my words, my actions, and my heart bring You glory today.

I choose to rejoice because this is the day You have made.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
