Lay It All At His Feet

There are moments when life feels overwhelming.

Responsibilities pile up.

Questions remain unanswered.

Fear whispers that we won't make it.

In those moments, the enemy tries to convince us that we are alone and that we have to carry every burden ourselves.

But God's Word tells us something different.

He invites us to bring everything to Him.

Not just our biggest problems.

Not just our deepest hurts.

Everything.

Our fears.

Our families.

Our finances.

Our work.

Our dreams.

Our disappointments.

Our future.

Nothing is too small or too heavy for our Heavenly Father.

When we lay our burdens at His feet, we are making a declaration of faith. We are saying, "Lord, I trust You more than I trust my own understanding."

Trust doesn't mean we will always have immediate answers.

It means we have confidence that God is already working, even when we cannot yet see the outcome.

His peace replaces our anxiety.

His strength replaces our weakness.

His presence reminds us that we never walk alone.

Today, whatever has been weighing on your heart, don't carry it another day.

Lay it at the feet of Jesus.

Leave it there.

Then rise up with confidence, knowing that the God who cares for you is already working all things together for your good.

“The burdens I surrender to God become the testimony of His faithfulness.”

1 Peter 5:7 NIV

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

What burden have I been carrying that God is asking me to surrender today?

Am I trusting God's promises more than my fears?

What would change if I truly left every concern at the feet of Jesus?

As you breathe in, whisper: “I surrender it all.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “I trust You, Lord.”

Reflection

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for caring so deeply about every part of my life. Today, I lay every burden at Your feet—my worries, my family, my work, my future, and every unanswered prayer.

Forgive me for the times I have listened to the enemy's whispers instead of Your promises. Strengthen my faith to trust that You are working, even when I cannot see it.

Fill my heart with Your peace, guide my steps, and help me to walk confidently, knowing You are carrying what I cannot.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
