Staying On God's Path
The Christian life is often compared to a race—not a sprint, but a marathon.
Along the way, there will always be distractions. The enemy will use fear, doubt, temptation, disappointment, and even success to try to pull us away from the path God has marked out for us.
The enemy’s goal is simple: to take our eyes off Jesus.
But God's Word gives us the answer.
Fix your eyes on Jesus.
When our focus is on Him, we find the strength to keep moving forward. We may stumble, but His grace lifts us up. We may grow weary, but His Spirit renews our strength. We may face opposition, but His promises remind us that He has already overcome the world.
Staying on God's path requires daily surrender.
It means choosing His Word over the world's opinions.
His truth over our feelings.
His will over our own.
The enemy may try to distract you, but he cannot stop the plans God has for your life when you remain rooted in Christ.
Today, refuse to be sidetracked.
Keep running the race God has set before you.
Keep your eyes on Jesus.
He will lead you, strengthen you, and carry you to the finish.
“When my eyes are fixed on Jesus, nothing the enemy does can pull me away from the path God has prepared for me.”

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith...”
What has been distracting me from God's path?
What "weights" do I need to lay aside so I can run freely?
How can I keep my eyes fixed on Jesus today?
As you breathe in, whisper: “My eyes are on You.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “Lead me, Lord.”

Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for marking out a path for my life. Help me to throw off every distraction and every burden that keeps me from following You wholeheartedly.
When the enemy tries to pull me away from Your purpose, remind me to fix my eyes on Jesus. Strengthen me to keep running with perseverance, trusting that You are with me every step of the way.
Thank You for Your faithfulness, Your guidance, and Your promise to never leave nor forsake me. I choose today to stay on the path You have prepared for me, confident that with You by my side, I will finish the race You have set before me.
