Let Us Pray For Our Children
Parenting is one of life's greatest blessings, but it is also one of its greatest responsibilities.
There are days filled with joy, laughter, and proud moments. There are also days filled with worry, heartache, and questions. As parents, grandparents, guardians, or those who love and care for children, we often wonder if we are doing enough.
The good news is that God loves our children even more than we do.
He knows their hearts.
He knows their future.
He knows every challenge they will face and every purpose He has planned for their lives.
Our role is not to control every outcome but to faithfully pray, teach, encourage, and trust God with what we cannot control.
Never underestimate the power of a praying parent.
Every prayer you pray over your child is heard by God.
Every seed of God's Word you plant has the potential to bear fruit in His perfect timing.
Even if your child has wandered, don't lose hope.
God is still pursuing them.
His love is relentless, His grace is sufficient, and His timing is perfect.
Today, place your children in God's hands once again.
Ask Him to protect them, guide them, strengthen them, and draw them closer to Him.
The God who entrusted them to you is more than able to care for them.
“The greatest gift I can give my children is to faithfully place them in God's hands every day.”
Proverbs 22:6 NIV
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
Have I been carrying worries about my children that I need to surrender to God?
How can I intentionally pray for them today?
Am I trusting God's plans for their lives, even when I cannot see what He is doing?
As you breathe in, whisper: “Lord, protect my children.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “I trust them to You.”

Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the precious gift of our children. Thank You for loving them more than we ever could.
Today, I place them into Your loving hands. Protect them from harm, guide their steps, guard their hearts, and fill them with wisdom and a desire to follow You.
When I worry, remind me that You are watching over them. Give me wisdom to lead by example, patience to love well, and faith to trust that You are working in their lives, even when I cannot see it.
May our children grow to know You, love You, and walk faithfully in the purpose You have prepared for them.
Amen.
