The Beauty of Our Lord and Saviour

There is a beauty in Jesus that cannot be measured by appearance. It is not something seen with the eyes, but something experienced in the soul.

It’s the beauty of His patience — how He waits for me even when I drift.

It’s the beauty of His mercy — how He forgives without hesitation.

It’s the beauty of His presence — how He stays, even in my most ordinary moments.

The more I walk with Him, the more I begin to see His beauty in places I didn’t expect.

I see it in the quiet strength He gives me when I feel weak.

I see it in the peace that settles over my heart when I should feel overwhelmed.

I see it in the way He continues to love me, even knowing every part of me.

There is nothing harsh about Him. Nothing uncertain. Nothing unfaithful.

He is steady.

He is kind.

He is holy.

He is near.

Sometimes I pause and realize that the greatest gift in my life is not what He gives me — it’s Him.

Not His blessings, but His presence.

Not His answers, but His nearness.

Not what He does for me, but who He is to me.

Jesus is beautiful in His humility, beautiful in His strength, beautiful in His love that never changes.

And today, I don’t want to rush past that. I want to sit in the awareness of who He is — my Lord, my Saviour, and the One my heart was always searching for.

Psalms 27:4 NIV

“One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.”

When was the last time you simply sat in His presence without asking for anything?

Where have you seen His beauty in your life recently?

Can you take a moment today just to be with Him?

As you breathe in, whisper: “You are beautiful.”

As you breathe out, whisper: “My heart is Yours.”

Reflection

Closing Prayer

Jesus,

Thank You for who You are.

Thank You for Your love, Your patience, and Your presence in my life.

Help me slow down and recognize the beauty of who You are — not just in what You do, but in Your heart.

Draw me closer to You today.

Amen.
