Claiming His Promises
There are days when life feels like a question mark.
Not everything is clear.
Not everything is settled.
Not everything is working the way you hoped it would.
And in those moments, it’s easy to start focusing only on what you see.
Delays.
Uncertainty.
Things still unresolved.
But God has not changed His Word because of your season.
His promises are still active.
Still true.
Still yes in Christ.
That means you don’t have to live your life only reacting to what’s in front of you.
You can begin to stand on what God has already said.
Not by ignoring reality…
but by choosing to anchor yourself in something stronger than it.
Because feelings shift.
Circumstances shift.
But God’s promises do not.
So today, instead of letting fear set the tone of your thoughts…
Begin to claim His promises over your life.
Not loudly to prove something—
but steadily to remind yourself what is true.
Promises like:
He is with you.
He will provide.
He will guide you.
He is working for your good.
Even if you don’t see it yet.
This is not about forcing faith.
It’s about returning to truth.
So whatever feels uncertain today…
Don’t let it become your final word.
Let God’s Word have the final say.
And remind yourself:
“What God has promised over my life is still yes.”
2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV
“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ.”
What promise from God do I need to hold onto more firmly right now?
Have I been more focused on what I see or what God has said?
How can I remind myself of His promises throughout my day?
As you breathe in, whisper: “Your promises are yes.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “I stand on Your Word.”

Closing Prayer
Lord,
Thank You that Your promises do not change with my circumstances. Help me to hold onto Your Word when life feels uncertain.
Teach me to stand on what You have said and not be shaken by what I see.
I choose to trust and claim Your promises today.
Amen.
