My God Is Awesome
Sometimes we need to pause…
Not to ask for anything.
Not to figure anything out.
But simply to remember who God is.
Because life can make God feel small.
Problems feel big.
Situations feel overwhelming.
Thoughts feel loud.
And without realizing it, our focus shifts.
We start measuring everything by what we see…
instead of who He is.
But God is not limited by what you’re facing.
He is still powerful.
Still faithful.
Still in control.
He is the God who makes a way.
The God who provides.
The God who strengthens when you feel weak.
And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do
is lift your eyes off your situation…
and put them back on Him.
Because when you remember how great He is—
everything else begins to take its proper place.
Your problem may still be there…
But it no longer feels bigger than your God.
So today, take a moment.
Pause.
Reflect.
Worship.
Not because everything is perfect…
But because He is still awesome.
And remind yourself:
“My God is greater than anything I’m facing.”
Psalm 145:3 NIV
“Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom.”
What has been feeling bigger than God in my life lately?
How can I shift my focus back to who He is?
What is one thing I can thank God for today?
As you breathe in, whisper: “You are great.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “And greatly to be praised.”

Closing Prayer
Lord,
Thank You for who You are—great, powerful, and beyond anything I can fully understand.
Help me to keep my focus on You, especially when life feels overwhelming. Remind me that You are bigger than anything I face.
Today, I choose to lift my eyes and remember—You are awesome.
Amen.
