In God We Trust

Trust sounds simple… until you actually have to live it.

It’s easy to say “I trust God” when things make sense.
When the path is clear.
When everything is working out.

But real trust shows up when it doesn’t.

When you don’t understand what’s happening.
When things feel uncertain.
When the outcome is out of your hands.

That’s where trust becomes a choice.

Not a feeling.
Not something you wait to feel ready for.

But a decision you make—again and again.

To trust Him with the outcome.
To trust Him with the timing.
To trust Him even when your thoughts are pulling you in a different direction.

Because your understanding is limited.

You see what’s in front of you.
God sees the full picture.

You see the delay.
God sees the preparation.

You see the uncertainty.
God sees the purpose.

So today, when your mind starts trying to figure everything out…

Pause.

You don’t have to solve it all.
You don’t have to understand it all.

You just have to trust.

Even a quiet, simple:

“God, I trust You.”

is enough.

Proverbs 3:5 NIV

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding..

Where am I struggling to trust God right now?

Am I leaning more on my understanding or His truth?

What would it look like to choose trust today?

As you breathe in, whisper: “I trust You.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “With all my heart.”

Reflection

Closing Prayer

Lord,

Trust doesn’t always come easily, especially when I don’t understand what’s happening.

Help me to lean on You instead of my own understanding. Strengthen my faith and remind me that You see what I cannot.

Today, I choose to trust You—fully.

Amen.
