In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.”

It Is Well

There’s a kind of peace that doesn’t come from everything being okay…

But from knowing God is still in control.

Because if you’re honest—
not everything feels settled.
Not everything is clear.
Not everything is how you want it to be.

And yet… there’s a deeper place you can stand.

A place where, even in the middle of uncertainty,
you can say:

“It is well.”

Not because everything is perfect.
Not because you have all the answers.

But because you trust the One who does.

“It is well” is not denial.
It’s not pretending things don’t matter.

It’s a quiet confidence that says:

God is with me.
God is for me.
God is working—even now.

And because of that…

My heart can settle.
My thoughts can slow down.
My spirit can rest.

Peace doesn’t always come when things change around you…

Sometimes it comes when something shifts within you.

So today, whatever you’re carrying—
whatever feels uncertain or unfinished—

Let this be your posture:

Not striving.
Not overthinking.
Not holding on too tightly.

But resting.

And reminding yourself:

“It is well… because He is still God.”

Isaiah 26:3 NIV

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.”

What is trying to disturb my peace today?

What would it look like to trust God in this moment?

Can I choose peace, even without full clarity?

As you breathe in, whisper: “It is well.”
As you breathe out, whisper: “My soul is at rest.”

Reflection

Closing Prayer

Lord,

Even when things are not fully settled, help me to find peace in You.

Teach me to trust You deeply and to rest in the truth that You are in control. Quiet my heart and steady my mind.

Today, I choose to say—it is well.

Amen.
