Stay In Step With Peace
After Easter, life doesn’t suddenly become perfect.
The noise doesn’t disappear.
The responsibilities don’t pause.
The emotions don’t always settle.
But something changes within you:
Peace becomes available in a new way.
Not the kind of peace that depends on everything going right…
but the kind that stays steady even when it doesn’t.
Jesus didn’t promise an easy life after resurrection.
He promised His presence.
He promised His peace.
And that peace is not fragile.
It doesn’t break when life gets busy.
It doesn’t leave when emotions rise.
It doesn’t disappear when things feel uncertain.
But we can still miss it
when we rush, overthink, or try to carry everything ourselves.
So today is a reminder:
Slow your thoughts.
Breathe.
Let go of what you’re trying to control.
You don’t have to force clarity.
You don’t have to fix everything today.
You just have to stay in step with Him.
Because His peace is not something you chase…
It’s something you walk in.
And when you do, even the ordinary moments start to feel steadier.
Not because everything changed around you…
But because something changed within you.
John 14:27 NIV

Closing Prayer
Lord,
Thank You for the peace You give—not like the world gives, but deep, steady, and lasting.
Help me to slow down today and not carry what I was never meant to hold alone. Teach me to walk in Your peace in every moment.
Keep my heart steady in You.
